PROGRAM

DESCRIPTION

The Archipelago Los Roques is the largest marine park in the Caribbean, and one of the most touristic places in Venezuela, receiving around 70,000 visitors per year, mostly English speakers. Los Roques is one of the most touristic places in Venezuela, yet, their population lacks knowledge in the universal language, English. Due to this, E-VEN, formerly E-ROQ, developed a syllabus specific for them including knowledge in civil values, tourism, and environmental conservation.

Since 2019, E-VEN has taught English to 60 children of Los Roques public school. Leading to promote their educational level, encourage sustainable tourism, and increase their economic development. 95%  E-VEN students approved their first evaluation. Their students begin in E-ROQ as Turtles, the next levels of the E-VEN Program are: Sunshine, Kiters, and Surfers. In 5 years, E-VEN hopes to see their first cohort of E-VEN graduates.
